Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in the middle of a road in Melbourne‘s west overnight.
A passing driver found the man lying in the middle of Boundary Road between William Angliss Drive and Mt Derrimut Road at Derrimut just before 3.50am, according to police.
The man, who is yet to be identified, was found dead at the scene.

The exact cause of the man’s death is yet to be determined at this stage.
Boundary Road between Fitzgerald Road and Mt Derrimut Road will be closed to traffic until further advised.
Police have urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
