I know what you’re probably thinking — “Great, another influencer trying to sing” — but Rae seems to be serious about this career change. Granted, her debut single, “Obsessed,” wasn’t well-liked by the general public (though I think it’s fun in a camp sort of way) but she’s rolled with the punches. After listeners reacted positively to some of her demos that leaked online, Rae dropped an EP of the polished version of the tracks on streaming. The “Vroom Vroom” songstress featured on Rae’s track “2 die 4” and Rae returned the favor on the A.G. Cook-produced remix of Charli’s “Von Dutch.” Rae’s ad-libbed scream, arguably the best part of the remix, went viral on TikTok shortly after the song was released. She’s still got it.
