Roofs collapse as strong winds batter town south of Perth

Multiple roofs have collapsed and trees have fallen down after strong winds hit a town southern Western Australia.

Emergency services are helping Bunbury residents after the wild weather caused damage this afternoon.

Locals about two hours south of Perth made more than 40 calls for help as the winds hit.

St John Ambulance paramedics are treating people for injuries across the town.
