A 71-year-old man has died in floodwaters following the discovery of his vehicle this morning at Greenbank in Brisbane’s south.
Police were called to reports of a submerged car at a property on Begley Road around 5am this morning.
The man was found dead near the vehicle.

His car was “found submerged in water”, police said.
The death was not thought to be suspicious.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
