GO trains suspended following incident on tracks near Rutherford Station in Vaughan

GO Transit service along the Barrie line has been temporarily suspended after an injury on the tracks near Rutherford Station in Vaughan on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened in an industrial zone near Rivermede and Bowes roads, which is east of Keele Street and north of Highway 7.

York Regional Police said that they were called to that area shortly before 12:30 p.m.

It is not known at this time when GO service will resume.
