Three in hospital after police operation in Sydney CBD

Two men have been arrested after police were called to the Sydney CBD early this morning.

9News understands two crime scenes have been set up on the corner of Goulburn Street and Pitt Street.

One is in front of a strip of restaurants, and the other is on the opposite side of the road, in front of a busy pub.

Police were called to the CBD location at about 4am.

They found a woman and two men – all aged in their 20s – with minor injuries.

One man sustained a superficial cut to his neck, while the other man and woman sustained facial injuries.

All three were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The two men were arrested and are under police guard at St Vincent’s and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Emergency services remain on the scene.
