Disney On Ice 2024 star is in critical condition after a fall in recent performance of the popular show.

The ice skater, playing Belle from Beauty and the Beast, fell on Saturday in the US show after a mishap during a lift.

The performer was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minnesota, where she was said to be in a critical but stable condition on Sunday morning, according to a release obtained by television station KARE 11.

The footage of the incident, shared on X, formerly Twitter, appears to show her having a seizure on the ice as the performer who plays Beast and medics are by her side. The account claims she was carried off the ice on a stretcher.

The extent of the injuries obtained is currently unknown.

Disney On Ice said in a statement that they ‘appreciate the well wishes from our fans as our team member recovers’.

Audience member Beka told the TV station: ‘They were doing a lift, she appeared shaky and she fell.

‘I am beyond grateful and thankful for the remaining staff and the performers who kept going because that preserves the magic for the kids. I know that has to have been very difficult,’ she added.

The company added that she was a member of the production company and not a local Minnesota skater.

The Magic in the Stars show will continue with performances around the USA and Canada, with dates scheduled in Detroit, Boston, and Laval in February.
