Girls charged after alleged brawl at Sydney train station

Four young girls have been charged over an alleged brawl with three women and a man at a Sydney railway station.

Police were called to Burwood Station about 9pm yesterday and were told three women, aged 27, 27 and 44, and a man, aged 27, were assaulted by a group of girls.

Four girls were arrested at the scene and taken to the local police station.

Police today confirmed three girls, aged 11, 12 and 14, were all charged with two counts of common assault.

Another girl, aged 15, was charged with four counts of common assault.

They were granted conditional bail to appear before a children’s court this month.
