UN mission ‘collapsing’ in Gaza as boss predicts killings of his own staff

The UN’s Palestine relief agency is now only ‘barely’ able to help civilians amid relentless Israeli shelling, its chief has warned.

More than 70% of UNRWA staff have been forced from their homes in Gaza and ‘lack food, water and adequate shelter’, Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said on Friday.
