A popular brand of organic butter that is sold at a number of IGA stores across the country has been recalled over contamination concerns.
Paris Creek Farms’ bio-dynamic fresh butter unsalted (200g) has been pulled off shelves due to possible microbial contamination from Yersinia enterocolitica.
Products with a use-by date of January 13, 2024 should not be eaten and could cause illness if consumed, Food Standards have warned.

The product has been available for sale at Foodies and Harris Farms in NSW, Foodland in SA and independent food retailers including IGA in SA, NT, VIC and WA.
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers who have bought the butter can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
