Let’s face it – the majority of people would be absolutely terrified if they were to take part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
However, it can’t be denied that Jamie Lynn Spears looked like a deer caught in headlights when she faced the prospect of doing a skydive to enter the camp for the 2023 series.
Tonight, the latest edition of the ITV1 show launches, with campmates including the likes of former Ukip leader Nigel Farage, restaurant critic Grace Dent, former professional boxer Tony Bellew and This Morning star Josie Gibson.
Jamie, the sister of pop sensation Britney Spears, has also joined the ranks, admitting ahead of the programme that she doesn’t like heights, as well as water or the idea of having to eat ‘weird things’.
‘I’m not looking forward to any of it,’ she said in a VT, while also expressing her disgust over what she’d heard about the Dunny, aka the designated camp toilet.
In new pictures released ahead of I’m A Celebrity’s first episode, the 32-year-old could be seen getting strapped up to do the annual skydive, officially marking the beginning of her jungle journey.

It’s safe to say that she looked absolutely petrified, as though she was questioning why on earth she agreed to do this show in the first place.
In the image, the Zoey 101 star’s eyes were wide with shock as a skydiver sat behind her, holding onto her shoulder straps.
When they finally jumped out of the aircraft, Jamie looked as though she was screaming with shock as the wind whipped her hair.
She wasn’t the only member of I’m A Celebrity’s class of 2023 that had to take on the skydive, as she was joined by JLS star Marvin Humes and actor Nick Pickard.

Jamie left viewers flummoxed when she gave her first interview after her casting was confirmed, when she said what she was best-known for.
Despite the fact that she is widely-known as the sister of Hit Me Baby One More Time singer Britney, she declared to the camera: ‘I’m best known for being an actress and a singer. I have been doing it since I could basically walk.’
She has appeared on other reality shows in the past, most recently on Dancing With The Stars in the US, which she was only eliminated from last month.
Earlier this year, she starred on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, an adaptation of the British reality series SAS: Who Dares Wins.
I’m a Celebrity launches tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
