Glasto’s tweet read: ‘Tickets for Glastonbury 2024 have now Sold Out. Our thanks to everyone who bought one and we’re sorry to those of you who missed out, on a morning when demand greatly exceeded supply.’
While many people will be wrapping up their weekends on cloud nine, others will be seriously bummed that they didn’t manage to get their hands on tickets.
But there are other ways into Worthy Farm, and you’ll be pleased to hear that every year around 2,000 people gain access to the world-famous festival by volunteering.

How to go to Glastonbury 2024 without a ticket
Anyone volunteering with Oxfam – which has partnered with Glasto since 1993 – can expect to find everything from a marquee, phone charging facilities and hot showers in the charity’s crew campsite and will also be awarded a meal token per shift.
Volunteers will normally work three eight-hour shifts in return for a ticket.
Every year Oxfam brings onboard stewards, campaigners and shop volunteers and you can register your interest for those positions here.

Festaff is another great place to look for volunteer work and its whole website is dedicated to helping volunteers find festival placement.
Its website notes: ‘Festaff positions usually involve working as part of a team of like minded volunteers on some light & enjoyable tasks such as stewarding in the campsite, wristbanding and/or scanning tickets as patrons arrive at the event, front of house bar staff, campsite information point teams, or similar general assistance roles.’
A further 1,500 medical professionals will volunteer to help out at Glastonbury through Festival Medical Services.

FMS – which started at Glasto in 1979 – brings in doctors, nurses, pharmacy services, paramedics and more to the festival and is now Glastonbury’s sole medical prover.
Medical professionals can find out more about FMS and Glasto here.
When do Glastonbury 2024 tickets go on resale?
Good news: there will be a resale of returned and cancelled Glasto tickets next spring, most likely in April 2024.

Anyone holding out hope for that time will need to make sure they’ve already registered for tickets.
Can you get campervan tickets without a general admission ticket?
Glasto’s official website notes: ‘Campervan tickets are only available to general admission ticket holders.’
