A second New South Wales man has been questioned over the killing of a notorious underworld figure in Victoria as investigations continue.
A 23-year-old man from Yagoona was arrested in Sydney CBD by the NSW Police Robbery and Serious Crime Squad over unrelated matters on November 10.
Five days later, he was interviewed about the September shooting of Gavin “Capable” Preston in Keilor, Victoria.

He has not been charged in relation to the fatal shooting but remains in custody in NSW for other reasons.
A 22-year-old man from Bradbury, NSW was charged with murder over the alleged gangland shooting on October 25.
He was extradited to Victoria and was remanded in custody.
Gavin “Capable” Preston, 50, was killed on September 9, while a second man Abbas “AJ” Maghnie, 26, was injured.
The pair were allegedly shot outside of a cafe on Old Cader Highway at 10.20am.
Maghnie is the son of late crime boss Nabil Maghnie.
Investigations into the shooting continue.
