It’s been one day since Matty’s shocking Big Brother eviction… and he already looks totally different!
The 24-year-old doctor from the Isle of Man was sent packing in a brutal – yet kind of iconic – backdoor eviction this week, narrowly missing out on a spot in the final.
During the emotional letters from home segment, Matty chose Yinrun, 25, to read his letter, which was actually written by Big Brother themselves, and concluded by announcing his time in the house was over.
Ever the optimist, though, Matty left with a smile on his face after accepting that, emotionally, he had reached his end.
He was back for the final, of course, and reunited with all other evictees – but you might not recognise him at first glance!
Sharing a bunch of snaps to Instagram ahead of the grand final between Jordan, Yinrun, Henry, Olivia, and Noky, the ex-housemates revealed Matty had chopped off his locks.

Having become known for his unruly curls during his BB stint, it’s no surprise fans were shocked by his transformation.
Now, Matty – who finished in sixth place – sports a shorter do, but has kept his famous moustache.
Alongside a mirror selfie of his outfit on his Instagram Story, Matty wrote: ‘New hair :O Bring on the BB Final’.
The likes of Paul, Tom, and Dylan also shared pics with Matty, delighted to have the gang back together for one final BB celebration.
Reacting to Matty’s surprising new look, Big Brother fanatics took to Twitter.
‘He’s so pretty with or without the long hair’, one person wrote, alongside a heart eye emoji.
‘JAW IS DROPPED I DIDNT EXPECT THAT’, another wrote.
Another penned: ‘jesus that was quick!! rip to the curls’.

Following his departure from Big Brother, Matty finally got to set the record straight on the so-called ‘love triangle’ he found himself caught up in, along with Jordan and Henry.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Matty spilled the beans on what his boyfriend Connor thought about the whole situation, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘I wish I would have asserted my boundaries earlier with Jordan, just to stop things spiralling a bit and getting out of hand.
‘I wish I would have been firmer with him, just to let things stop.’
Matty went on to say that while all his actions that were shown on Big Brother did actually happen, it was such a small part of their day that became amplified.
He told us: ‘Everything that was filmed and showed actually did happen, like there’s no denying that 100%.
‘But it was much bigger outside than it was in the house, like even if you speak to all the housemates no one even knows it went on because for me it was 10 minutes out of my 24 hour day but to you guys it was 10 minutes out of 45 minute episode.
‘So I’m not denying it happened. Everything that happened, the cryptic words, the too-ing and fro-ing, the hot and coldness, that was all definitely a part of my experience. I guess it was a small part of my experience than it seems out here.’
